I know everyone enjoys free things so you probably don’t need to have a reason to want free XP in Social City. In fact, if that’s true, you can actually bypass the following section simply because you don’t have to read it. If that’s not true and I need to convince you why you should want free stuff then here you go:
Why XP Matters in Social City
Experience Points (XP) may be earned by doing a number of tasks in Social City. They’re almost literally a gauge of how experienced you are in the game. The more things you do, the more experienced you are and the more points you get.
This is very important since XP is also what determines when you level up .
[I:http://www.2hourday.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/JamieSands0.jpg]In Social City, there’s a progress bar at the top with a couple of numbers divided with a slash ( “/”). That’s the XP you’ve gotten as well as the XP you’ll need to reach the next level.
When you reach the next level many excellent things happen: You get cash, coins and the opportunity to build bigger and better structures. Hooyah!
Ways to Get XP
To increase our chances of leveling up sooner and getting those goodies, we have to understand more about how one gets XP points. Here’s the list of events that reward you with XP:
* Building Things: Leisure buildings, terrain, residences, etc. (excluding “free” roads)
* Collecting Finished Contracts from a Factory
* Accomplishing Achievements
Just about everything one does in Social City, really. That’s some good news. The bad news is that every one of those things costs something – coins or cash. Even worse is that you don’t really get a lot of XP for the money. Don’t worry, there’s actually more good news:
There’s A Way to Get Free XP
Yep, that’s right. There’s one more way of getting XP that I didn’t mention before and it’s completely free. Check it out:

That’s right, a growth in XP! Each time you welcome new people to your city, you also collect free XP.
You receive XP simply for clicking on your houses! In my opinion, this is the most critical thing to remember when playing Social City if your aim is to level up in the shortest time; Use residences that give you the most XP per click and don’t take too long to be all set for the next click. That’s the key to free XP.
