Hapiness
a big word, with little manifestation in 90% of our fellow men lives. Why is that? Is happiness so hard to achieve by every single one of us? Well, the subject is way to wide to discuss it on a single post, or to be discussed by a single person, because happiness is different things for different people. But as different as we might seem to be, in essence we’re all the same in so many ways, and You we’ll agree with me on this, that happiness comes from simple things, like having a great breakfast or enjoying a sunrise, or kissing the person you love. Though this things don’t last but a few moments, they give us energy, and the power to go thru the day.
How to make it stay
And this has been debated on so many levels, that what I’m going to say it’s not new at all, but it will do a great amount of good to your life. Let’s first analyze why if you have it, it only stays for a few minutes, or hours, and then it goes away as it came. First of all, if this is Your case, then let me say that you are not alone in this. There are people suffering from this as well. So let’s analyze the reasons in a simple manner:
1. Negativity
Your subconscious is the most empowering personal growth tool at your disposal. Are you using it for your benefit? Consciously watch your thoughts for a day and you will be surprised at how negative you can be. Yes this does take practice but you can eliminate negativity with time. Reprogram your subconscious with happy thoughts, and watch miracles manifest into your life.
2. Despair
Genuine hope isn’t a yellow smiley face or the denial of death at the bedside of a loved one in hospice, says Feldman, who’s pursued research and clinical work addressing the question: “How do people maintain hope and meaning in the face of adversity?
Three components are essential for hope to thrive, Feldman says. They are having goals, as well as a plan and the motivation to achieve them. “Those who succeed don’t internalize the blame game, either internally or externally,” he says, “They ask, ‘what now?’”
In addition to reaching goals, these people perform better in sports and school, Feldman says. They have a greater tolerance for pain. They use health-promoting behaviors. They also have a lower risk for depression, anxiety, and heart disease.
Feldman advises setting personally meaningful goals and checking to see where your hope falters — is it with the plan or the motivation? Allow yourself to daydream, he says. It’s a wonderful source of hope and, therefore, happiness.
3. No Purpose or Mission
If you have not realized that having a genuine mission or purpose is essential for true success and ultimate happiness, you’re really missing out. Not having a mission or crystal clear purpose is the surest way to live an uninspired and mediocre life. How do you expect to enjoy life when you don’t even know what you want?
Having a mission or purpose gives you something to live for, something to look forward to, something to be passionate about. Your purpose isn’t merely a goal; it’s a way of life. Obviously defining your purpose does require some in-depth soul searching but if you’re looking to profoundly change your life, there’s no better place to start.
